About BPG
The goal of the Beltway Photography Group is to bring photographers
together from the DC, Maryland and Virginia area and to document major
local events.
These projects will not only motivate people to go out
and shoot but that you will be able to share your photography and what
you learn with other photographers. Its about having fun and learning
something new.
The process is simple. We hold two meetings. The first
is an info session where we review the upcoming event and talk about
stories and strategies for getting the best shots. This also includes
a guest speaker who will supply us with useful tips. The second
meeting is a presentation/exhibit of everyone’s photography and will
take place shortly after the specific event we are shooting.
